"If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change."

Wayne Dyer

Change Your Relationship with Food. Reclaim Your Life.

You Are Not Your Eating Disorder.

We know the path you're on. It can feel isolating, all-consuming, and as if your life is controlled by rules, rituals, and a voice that isn't your own.

At Changes, we want you to know, first and foremost: What you are going through is not a choice, a phase, or a failure of willpower. Eating disorders are serious, complex health conditions. They are also treatable.

Our name represents our core belief: that you can change your relationship with food, your body, and yourself. Our mission isn't to change you, but to help you find the strong, capable, and whole person who has been obscured by this illness. We are here to guide you, step by step, back to a life of freedom, flexibility, and peace.

Healing for the Whole Person.

Eating disorders show up in many different ways, and every person's experience is unique. Our team provides specialized, evidence-based care for individuals and families affected by:

  • Anorexia Nervosa: Intense restriction, fear of weight gain, and a drive for thinness.
  • Bulimia Nervosa: A painful cycle of binge eating followed by compensatory behaviors (like purging, laxative use, or excessive exercise).
  • Binge Eating Disorder (BED): Recurrent episodes of eating large quantities of food, often very quickly and to the point of discomfort, accompanied by feelings of shame and loss of control.
  • Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID): A pattern of restrictive eating due to sensory sensitivities, fear of aversive consequences (like choking), or low appetite, leading to nutritional deficiencies.
  • Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorder (OSFED): For individuals whose experiences don't fit the exact criteria for other disorders but are causing significant distress.
  • Disordered Eating & Body Image Distress: Chronic dieting, obsessive thoughts about food and weight, and intense dissatisfaction with your body.

A Holistic Team Dedicated to Your Recovery.

Lasting recovery involves healing the mind, the body, and your relationship with food. Our treatment is comprehensive, collaborative, and tailored to you.

  • 1. Evidence-Based Therapy Your therapist will be your primary guide. Using proven methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), you'll work to understand your triggers, challenge the eating disorder's thoughts, and build skills for emotional regulation.
  • 2. Nutritional Rehabilitation This is not a diet plan. You will work with a specialized Registered Dietitian (RD) to heal your relationship with food. The goal is to break rigid food rules, challenge fear foods in a safe way, rediscover your body's hunger and fullness cues, and find peace and flexibility in eating.
  • 3. Medical Monitoring Your physical safety is our top priority. We will coordinate closely with your primary care physician or our medical team to monitor your health and ensure you are medically stable throughout your recovery.
  • 4. Body Image Healing A core part of recovery is learning to live peacefully in your body. We provide a supportive space to explore your feelings about your body, challenge unrealistic societal ideals, and move toward body acceptance or neutrality.
  • 5. Family & Support System Integration Eating disorders thrive in secrecy. We offer Family-Based Treatment (FBT) for adolescents and provide sessions, education, and resources for family members and loved ones to help them understand how to be an effective part of your support system.

Your First Step to Change is a Sign of Strength.

We know how hard it is to reach out. It's the most courageous step you can take. You do not have to do this alone. A different life is waiting for you.

Let us help you find it.

Show your Strength.
